Even locked in a cage, I wasn't completely helpless.
The consciousness ocean inside the Light Heart was my domain. Even Mi Xue couldn't interfere here, and thanks to Black Rabbit's efforts, a considerable amount of radiance had gathered here.
I was indeed catching up to Mi Xue at an unprecedented speed.
"Why are you back again? Did you find a way out of the cage?"
The consciousness fragment was still here.
Without even a physical form, able only to speak inside my head, she was nevertheless an unforeseen loose end Mi Xue had left behind-the origin of every unexpected turn.
"No. Sending a few one-way messages through the cable is the most I can manage. I don't even know whether the Earth Crystal will notice them..."
I had sent over a seemingly absurd plan for creation.
The consciousness fragment reminded me, "That plan depends on you surpassing Mi Xue in scale and becoming the new savior. You need to find a way to stop Mi Xue from killing herself."
Mi Xue was all she cared about. I knew that.
"Stop rushing me. I only came here to keep watching Black Rabbit's memories."
This was my best means of understanding her.
What she had experienced with Mi Xue and the Proxy, along with the difficulties they had faced during the previous twelve cycles-of course, how much I could see depended on whether the memories Black Rabbit had packaged for me were complete.
She had given me her memories twice. Clearly, she had her own reasons.
Did she also have secrets she couldn't mention in front of Mi Xue?
"Let me come with you."
