Thinking back, although she had hidden it well, she really had shown a particular fondness for the **-ified Azura, even getting handsy with her...
I glanced at Azura, but she seemed completely oblivious.
As the elevator rose, Liuzi pulled a document from the stack of papers in her hands.
It contained information on Agatha's original persona. On the day of the incident, she had gone to the children's playground in a corner of the park to commit a crime, but before she could carry it out, the darkness inside her had overflowed and turned her into a Negative Variant. Afterward, Aldebaran had used her as a guinea pig, implanting three Simulacrum Factors in her.
But beneath the oversized trench coat left at the scene, they had found a prohibited ** and a handkerchief.
Liuzi explained as she went over the documents:
"Agatha used to be a Negative Variant. Because her modification surgery was interrupted, her original human persona was shattered beyond repair. Her current Witch Persona is a completely blank slate."

I was the one who had interrupted that surgery.
Looking at it now, it was a good thing that child abductor's original persona hadn't survived. For the current Agatha, at least, it was an enormous blessing.
But...
"If nothing was left, shouldn't she be innocent?"
Surely Liuzi's "blank slate" wasn't referring to her appearance?
She certainly was pale. In her normal state, she didn't have a trace of color, like an unpainted figurine...
Liuzi explained, "The problem is that something from her original persona did remain. An obsession, perhaps? She has an inexplicable preference for children. Since we've never let her live out in society, we can't be sure whether she would
