Everyone packed their luggage and followed SpiCa into the wormhole passage.
We had actually been prepared for this long ago. The last time Xiao Yi went to report to SpiCa that the reconstruction of Zodiacal was complete, it had only been a matter of time before we went up there.
So none of us asked anything.
Even Doggy carried her beloved doghouse on her back and obediently followed along.
This was a long-distance transfer, and the wormhole passage was quite long as well.
"City School is already in space?"
When I asked that, Liuzi explained:
"Not yet. To save on transfer costs for the various branches and avoid alerting the enemy, it's temporarily flying over the ocean along a fixed route as before. The Director's plan is to gather everyone first, then decide what to do next."
Still, being able to open such a long transfer passage showed that SpiCa's magic had become quite refined.
"So when are we going into space?"
"Once most of the Magical Girls have gathered. SpiCa also needs to hold a mobilization meeting and win the support of the other Magical Girls... though they'll basically all support it. After all, true Magical Girls are people with a sense of mission."
Would winning their support really go so smoothly?
I shook my head and sighed. "Having a sense of mission is one thing, but accepting this ideal is another. I'm afraid not every Magical Girl can accept such an arrangement. In a sense, SpiCa's approach is to separate 'Magical Girls' from 'humans,' dividing them into 'us' and 'them'..."
That would create internal conflict. It was a serious problem.
But SpiCa, walking ahead of us, answered:
"That's right. The goal is to distinguish them. Just as the Earth Crystal seals away darkness, I want to separate Magical
