Background / History

SpiCa was an ordinary elementary-school teacher from Esperia twelve years before the present story. Chosen as one of the original seven Magical Girls, she initially depended on Sirius and the others in combat; her limited offensive magic led her to develop as a tactician instead. She later became known as the “Strategist Saint,” despite being informally considered the weakest of the original seven. 24 27

Seven years before the main events, SpiCa selected and sent thirty elite Magical Girls on an expedition to the Other Side. The operation failed, and the members were transformed into monsters and sent back one by one. SpiCa regards the disaster as her personal responsibility and remains determined to uncover what happened to them. 27 39 457

As Director of the Association’s Tactical Division, SpiCa advocates organizing Magical Girls into a coordinated fighting force against the Other Side. This repeatedly puts her at odds with Sirius, who prioritizes Magical Girls’ individual freedom and autonomy. 61 74
