The alarm was disorienting, and I looked toward Alpha.
"Uhm, what drone attack? Is this your magic?"
Alpha shook her head in denial.
"How could it be? Does my magic look like it summons drones? This is a textbook enemy attack, and probably from that organization called Enheria, no doubt about it."
This was outer space hundreds of thousands of meters above the ground, so propeller drones couldn't fly up here. If it wasn't magic, could they be military drones?
Putting away her magic staff, Alpha looked up again.
A formation of drones trailing red tracer exhaust and spitting tongues of fire swept past the dome above the Zodiacal, and then, a string of aerospace missiles shot out from those wings.
...Oh crap!
"Get down!"
I shouted as I tackled Alpha and Foehn to the floor, however...
These missiles did not shatter the Zodiacal's dome; an invisible shield enveloped the exterior of the dome, blocking all the firepower.
[Please do not panic, everyone. The Zodiacal has activated its barrier shield.]
[The Zodiacal's defense system is fully capable of handling this drone attack.]

It was Miss Terra's broadcast the entire time. Although she was a monitor sent by the Earth Crystal, she was genuinely fulfilling her duties as the Central Control System.
The Zodiacal's barrier could not only defend, but even launch high-energy lasers back at those drones. With more Star Crystals providing power, even the means of retaliation had become simple and crude.
Although it was a bit sudden, the defense system quickly destroyed all of these drones.
"The dome is a lot sturdier than before, huh?"
The consequences of breaking the dome in outer space would be unthinkable, so this was taken into consideration right from the design stage. The seemingly
