After being tossed about for a while, they finally rushed toward the staircase leading to the first floor, as if they had been flushed down a toilet.

The first-floor entrance was the direction they were falling. Even with twisted staircases along the way, gravity was twisted for them.
No matter how winding the route was, it was still a straight vertical fall.

But SpiCa was not without a countermeasure. Great quantities of White Silk shot out in every direction, weaving a net through the corridor to keep the Magical Girls from being swept away. It also bound Witches and Magical Girl Soldiers together, making Aldebaran hesitate to act recklessly.

Aldebaran merely shook her hands, producing two crackling electric batons, then strolled unhurriedly toward SpiCa. A smiling pixel-art face appeared on her mirrored helmet in LED dot-matrix lights.
"But in this state, do you still have the ability to fight back?"
All of SpiCa's attention was devoted to anchoring herself, the Magical Girls, and the Witches. Forget counterattacking—she could not even spare a single extra strip of White Silk.
Just as the white bunny girl was about to reach her, a pink metal yo-yo flew in from the side, fast as lightning. Aldebaran instinctively raised an arm to block, only for the string to wrap around her wrist, preventing her from bringing down her electric baton.
