Through some form of technology that allowed communication across space, Aldebaran could receive messages from outside even beneath the lunar surface.
The Zodiacal, which had been stationed in low Earth orbit, suddenly began flying toward the Lunar City. It moved slowly, though; that structure could easily tear itself apart if it flew too fast.
"Looks like SpiCa has found the answer."
"But not necessarily the right answer. Maybe she just has something she wants to try?"

With Aldebaran giving the order, Xiao Qilan readily agreed.
She also asked, "Aldebaran, will we be discovered?"
"I don't know, but even if you are, your leader should have a backup plan, right?"

I tried to soothe her panic.
"There's no proof that SpiCa called the Zodiacal over because she found a way in. Maybe she just wants to conduct some intercity diplomacy with the Lunar City?"
But she replied, "She's the actual administrator of both cities. What would she need diplomacy for? If she's bringing the entire Zodiacal over, she definitely wants a showdown with us!"
Actually, I thought so too.
SpiCa was cautious by nature, arranging her entire plan before she acted. She wouldn't come charging over with such fanfare unless she was confident...
If she was coming, she had to have brought a way to break the stalemate.
"I do have a countermeasure."
