The signal had finally returned, and I was just about to reconnect when a teleportation passage opened in the room. All three who had gone down returned, including a thoroughly indignant Betelgeuse.
I took off my VR headset and sat up on the couch.
"What happened? Did you really meet Enheria's leader?"
Alpha set down the mechanical prosthetic body, now an empty shell, and replied, "Although Sun Ji has returned to Enheria, their current leader is still that Proxy."
The Proxy's magic seemed to have severed my connection to the mechanical prosthetic body. Like Ceruno's, it was some kind of domain magic.
"You came back in just over a minute. That was a pretty quick conversation."
Alpha replied, "The Proxy accelerated time within her domain, so we experienced more time than actually passed. Oh, and that Simulacrum Personality called A-Yao said she would come see you again next time."
"She can not only create a domain, but also control time inside it?"
That sounded more than a little absurd.
"Do you think Zodiacal has any chance of winning against an opponent like that?"
With the Second Research Institute's Witch Domain at her disposal, Aldebaran had toyed with SpiCa when she led a team inside to investigate.
