The Proxy's office.
After blocking the opening with an ice wall of Time Stasis, I endured the darkness draining away and returned here with Fomalhaut to hear the Proxy's next steps.
"We'll seal the shaft entrance on the lunar surface, then expand the domain into the Deep Well. I'll trap those magical girls inside and take my time dealing with them... Under those circumstances, Zodiacal won't dare use that laser. They'll have to send people down to dig. Even blasting could cause a cave-in and bury them alive, unless SpiCa doesn't care about those magical girls' lives."
The Proxy swung her elephant-trunk-like breathing hose as she proudly outlined her plan.
It sounded reasonable, but how were we supposed to block the opening?
Without a way to do that, it was all empty talk.
"All my mana is going into maintaining the Present Moment. Even with the little hole you opened in the Dark Seal to supply me with power, I don't have enough left to maintain a second wall."
Neither did Fomalhaut. She was exhausted too.
Even if we substituted something else, anything too fragile wouldn't be able to seal the shaft entrance.
"Magic? Don't underestimate Enheria's industrial capabilities! Follow me!"
The Proxy snapped her fingers, opened a teleportation passage, and stepped inside. Fomalhaut and I hurried after her, following her into an enormous factory workshop.
Production lines for drones, weapons, and Mimir were all set up here, operating automatically in perfect order. The Other Side's technology was already more advanced than humanity's, and some witches probably had magic similar to Minister Hefi's. A workshop on this scale didn't seem all that surprising...
Just how big a hole had Enheria dug beneath the moon?
In the center of the workshop, several cranes held up an enormous silvery-white steel plate.
