(Proxy)
Lunar City's landmark was the enormous Crystal Pyramid.
Inside the World Center, the Parliament Hall that had once belonged to the Supreme Council had now become the venue for "peace talks" between Zodiacal and Enheria.
The negotiations with SpiCa had only been an appetizer. This meeting was what would determine both sides' futures.
As such, both sides had sent sizable delegations to attend.
Antarctic Star headed the Zodiacal delegation, but SpiCa herself had not come.
On Enheria's side, Fomalhaut and several witches who had once belonged to the Supreme Council were now sitting here again under different identities.
Even the artificial little witch had tagged along, though I hadn't asked her to come.
Meanwhile, Miluno, who should have been sitting beside me, had run off to see her other self, saying she wanted to help save the magical girls who had turned into cocoons.
Spare a thought for my feelings, too!
Running off to another woman when I needed her most. What a blockhead...
I listened distractedly to Zodiacal's remarks, only to hear accusations leveled at me.
"Miss Proxy, you turned a total of seven hundred and sixty-eight magical girls into Witch Cocoons. After committing such an outrageous crime, you still expect Zodiacal to cooperate with an operation led by you...
Not only can I not accept this, I believe the other magical girls will not accept such an unreasonable arrangement either."
The short-haired girl wearing a magician's tailcoat and a yellow neckerchief said this.
She was Antarctic Star.
Supposedly, she was an elite educated by the most intelligent people on Earth.
Faced with that accusation, I countered with a question:
"You're a penguin, yet you're fighting for human interests?"
"I'm fighting for magical girls' rights. I'm one of them."
Her stance was firm, but I argued back anyway.
