"That's right! I did it!"
The Proxy admitted it readily, as though talking about some proud accomplishment.
"Not bad at all."
"Huh?"
It wasn't just me. Even the Proxy hadn't expected praise from Sirius.
"She should've taken a break ages ago. She wore that worked-to-death look day and night. Forcing her to retire now might actually be a good choice... Of course, I'm not planning to take over either~"
Yuehan chimed in as well:
"As for a successor, that girl Antarctic Star is pretty popular. If she isn't suited to it, someone else will step up. There are plenty of responsible magical girls. This burden should never have rested on SpiCa's shoulders forever... Her journey of atonement should've ended long ago."
"Actually, you could stay on Earth."
Perhaps because she'd been praised, the Proxy surprisingly didn't scowl at Sirius.
"Miluno... Not my Miluno, of course. The other Miluno can turn you into a follower of the Light Side. Then you could stay on Earth."
"I know. Antarctic Star told me too, but I don't need that!"
She turned to Halley and confirmed something with a glance before answering:
"We came up here of our own free will, not because dark powers were troubling us. Instead of using that solution on us, use it on the people who want to leave but have become Fake Magical Girls or Negative Variants. Let them go back and reunite with their families."
Purifying a Contaminated Crystal would undo a Fake Magical Girl's transformation and allow the star crystal to be removed.
Perhaps they were reluctant to surrender the power they'd finally gained, or perhaps they believed in Enheria's ideals. Either way, few Fake Magical Girls wanted to go back.
The Proxy was still protecting them, so Zodiacal couldn't very well act against them either.
