Hyacinth was the first to get to her feet, gripping her weapon and warily watching General Bunny's every move.

If the Super-Heavy Cheshire Rabbit in heavy armor had reminded Hyacinth of some very unpleasant things just now, then the Cheshire Rabbit now bathed in blazing fire...

...made Iris feel extremely uneasy, her back drenched in cold sweat.

"Don't be scared, everyone! General Bunny lost a huge amount of fighting power in that explosion. She's not unbeatable now!"

Seeing this, the bard Nightingale hurriedly shouted, and Fox Fox the DM immediately tossed a die into the dice tray.

"The bard's inspiration has greatly improved your combat abilities. For the next two rounds, all attacks gain a +2 bonus."

Familiar Fox Fox told the adventurers.

And so, a boss battle began.

Even after having half her level and stats weakened by a scripted defeat, the level-eight General Bunny was still an enormous challenge for an adventuring party averaging level six.

The battle was extremely difficult—Hyacinth charged forward and immediately took a Divine Smite from General Bunny, losing more than half her health on the spot.

"Waaah! She hits so hard!"

"Who told you to charge straight at her?! What happened to your bow and ranged control? If nothing else, raise your shield and use Shield Charge!"

Priest Bailing shouted from behind, wishing she could rush over and slap Hyacinth twice. Still, she diligently did her actual job: throwing a healing potion at Hyacinth's feet while casting Healing Spell on her.

But Hyacinth's health was still hanging by a thread. Another Divine Smite from General Bunny next round would flatten her on the spot. Fortunately, the warlock Shasha stabilized the battle formation in time—
