A belated August recap

This book has been running for over a year, and this is my first time writing an author's note. Posting it on the fifth seems a little late. I probably won't manage to drum up any monthly votes now, haha.

Really, though, what I mainly wanted to do was chat a little about the plot and how the cultivation realms are arranged.

As the story has progressed, I've seen a lot of readers with questions about the realms and the plot. A good portion of them complain that it's "too slow." Three million characters just to reach the second realm (the protagonist is in the third realm now), and even after all this writing, I still haven't clearly laid out the full realm system. The later realms are still shrouded in fog-and so on.

Let me defend myself a little, haha.

The realm system in this book is actually different from those in a lot of other books.

First of all, there are definitely very few realms-only about six. The book has emphasized all along that someone in the third realm counts as an expert, while someone in the fourth realm is already at the level of a region's Earth List. Across the entire Wanghe Circuit, there are only seventy-two people at that level. You could say the third realm is already quite high.

I won't spoil the specific realms. Also, while there are gaps between realms, those gaps won't be enormous.

When building the world, I wasn't thinking about making everything as powerful as possible. I was more concerned with whether I could make it fantastical enough while still reflecting some of the rules by which society operates, allowing ordinary people and powerful people with supernatural abilities, such as martial artists, to live in the same space without it
