The next morning.
Li Changfeng and the four famous arresters had drunk themselves senseless at a tavern. The five of them lay sprawled across the floor in a tangled heap, surrounded by empty wine jars. The place was a complete mess.
Li Changfeng's eyelids twitched slightly as he slowly woke up. The moment he opened his eyes, he found Zhuiming's leg pressing against his chest, while his own head rested on Tieshou's arm. Leng Xue, meanwhile, was using Wuqing's lap as a pillow. None of them appeared awake yet.
Li Changfeng forcefully shoved Zhuiming's leg aside and slowly rose to his feet. A sharp pain throbbed through his head. They had enjoyed themselves immensely the previous night, drinking jar after jar without stopping. Zhuiming and Tieshou in particular had tried their hardest to pour him under the table.
He had not even known when he had passed out. Li Changfeng nudged the two of them. "Hey! You two brats are still sleeping? Get up!"
Zhuiming and Tieshou groggily woke up. Tieshou rubbed his head and said, "Where am I? How did I end up here?"
Zhuiming, still dazed, shouted, "Come on, Brother Li! Let's keep drinking!"
Li Changfeng was speechless. He patted Zhuiming's cheek. "Hey, hey, hey! You still haven't sobered up from last night?"
Zhuiming frantically shook his head. "Hiss! I drank too much last night. My head hurts like hell!"
At this point, Wuqing and Leng Xue were also awakened by the commotion. Wuqing discovered that Leng Xue had been lying on his lap and had even vomited a great deal of foul-smelling residue over him. His face turned livid, and he shoved Leng Xue away in disgust.
"Leng Xue! You... you're disgusting!"
Leng Xue looked utterly embarrassed. "Uh... I'm truly sorry, Wuqing! Please forgive me!"
Wuqing snorted
