Space twisted and folded once more. When the scenery became clear again, Di Tian and Na'er had already appeared on a desolate snowfield more than a hundred li away from Blackstone Village.

That naïve fool "Na'er" had given it to that human named Bai Mo.

What did a reverse scale mean to dragons? It was a token exchanged only by partners who had promised to remain together for life.

And now, she, the dignified Silver Dragon King, had had her most precious reverse scale given away as a child's trinket.

She raised her head and looked toward the gloomy sky, as though she could see through the clouds to the existence watching this world from the unseen.

Although the Burning Legion was temporarily being held outside this universe by the Anti-End Alliance, the fact that the Destruction Grand Duke could contact her so easily told her that the other side was definitely brewing an enormous conspiracy.

She did not think highly of that so-called alliance, but it was still too early to think about such things. Even if the sky fell, she first had to resolve the trouble right before her.

Gu Yuena made her decision.

She could no longer be affected by Na'er, that unstable factor. She had to completely separate this personality from herself. Even if doing so greatly weakened her strength, it was still better than remaining mentally split forever.

"Why did you make her approach him?" The clean, bright voice carried a hint of warning. "Do not do anything unnecessary."

"I sent him a wife. Isn't that a good thing?" A teasing smile entered the cold voice.

"Are you... trying to start a war with me?"

This time, the bright voice was filled with undisguised killing intent.

Before the words had even faded, a scalp-numbing hum suddenly erupted through the deathly darkness—the sound of billions of insect swarms beating their wings. The noise gathered into a torrent capable of tearing apart the universe, making those violet vertical pupils narrow slightly.
