Background / History

Na'er was found by Bai Mo while he was gathering wild vegetables outside Blackstone Village, roughly half a year after his arrival in the world. White-haired, purple-eyed, and unable to remember her past, she called herself Na'er and came to live with him as his younger sister. The villagers’ appearance-based assumption that they were biological siblings went unchallenged. 1

She and Bai Mo survived in a remote thatched hut with Fufu. Although only about five or six years old, Na'er routinely handled domestic work: fetching water, washing rice, lighting the stove, and cooking porridge. 1

During the One-Horned Demon’s assault on their home, Na'er refused to abandon Bai Mo after he was critically injured. She stood between him and the Demon despite being terrified. 6 7

While Bai Mo fought the regenerating Demon, ancient memories surged into Na'er's mind. Her manner briefly became cold and detached, and an internal conflict emerged between the innocent Na'er personality and a more composed consciousness that understood Bai Mo’s exceptional bloodline and independently awakened Martial Soul. 8

Nangong Nayue later exposed Na'er's identity as Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King. Na'er had only recently recovered much of her memory and was overwhelmed by guilt toward Bai Mo for concealing—or being unable to explain—her true nature. 14

Bai Mo nevertheless affirmed that she would always be his little sister. Before leaving with Di Tian, Na'er gave him a silver dragon-scale pendant and asked him never to remove it. 15

Afterward, Gu Yuena regained control of their shared body and resolved to separate Na'er's personality. Gu Yuena considered Na'er an unstable factor, though Na'er retained enough influence to occasionally seize control despite holding only thirty percent of the body’s power. 16

Appearance

Na'er appears as a small, delicate girl of about five or six years old, with an appearance that closely complements Bai Mo’s.

Personality

Na'er is gentle, affectionate, and intensely devoted to Bai Mo. She worries over his recurring nightmares, comforts him without hesitation, and depends on him emotionally while also trying to care for him in practical ways. 1

Despite her fear and childlike innocence, she is courageous when Bai Mo is threatened. During the Demon attack, she protected his injured body with her own and refused to run away. 6 7

The return of her ancient memories complicates her personality. At times, she becomes markedly calm, distant, and emotionally restrained; however, the innocent Na'er personality remains determined to protect Bai Mo and continues to regard him as her brother. 8 16

Na'er is the amnesiac human-form identity of Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King. Her true identity is recognized by Nangong Nayue, and Di Tian responds to her exposure. 14

When the One-Horned Demon invades their home, Na'er stays with the severely injured Bai Mo rather than fleeing. Her crisis-triggered memory return reveals the first signs that she is more than an ordinary amnesiac child. 6 8

Identity Revelation and Farewell

Nangong Nayue identifies Na'er as Gu Yuena, prompting Di Tian’s arrival. Bai Mo accepts her despite the revelation, and Na'er leaves with Di Tian after entrusting Bai Mo with her dragon-scale pendant. 14 15

Gu Yuena’s Separation Plan

Once Gu Yuena reasserts control, she decides that Na'er's continued existence threatens her plans and orders Di Tian to resolve the issue. 16
