"Do not worry. I bear you no ill will. On the contrary, we are filled with goodwill toward you. And you are far from ordinary. Judging by your age, you are at most in your teens, yet you have already reached the rank of Soul Ancestor. With your talent, you would be among the best even among humans. Even the First-Generation Angel God did not possess such cultivation at your age twenty thousand years ago."

Di Tian spoke without slowing down in the slightest.

"If you truly mean me no harm, then put me down and let my master come with me."

Xu Tianchen spoke to Di Tian.

"No. No human other than you can know of this matter, and I am doing this for your own good."

Di Tian replied with an unyielding firmness in his voice. He absolutely would not allow any other human to learn of this matter.

He also saw a soul beast covered in golden fur lying lazily by the lake like a giant cat. Beside it stood two burly men, a man who looked somewhat sinister, a figure shrouded entirely in black mist whose gender could not be discerned, and two beautiful women.

Those should be the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, Xiong Jun, Scarlet King, Myriad Demon King, and that indistinguishable one should be Demon Spirit. The final two women should be Bi Ji and Zi Ji.

What was this? Could I really determine the life and death of soul beasts' future? The whole Star Dou beast squad was here. Should they call out the Silver Dragon King sleeping at the bottom of the lake too? There were already so many of them; one more would not make a difference.

Xu Tianchen thought to himself, deeply puzzled as to why the soul beast side cared so much about him.

"Xiong Jun, go stop the person who will be flying over shortly."

Di Tian set Xu Tianchen down and spoke to the burly, bald man.

"Fine." Xiong Jun answered, then headed in the direction Di Tian had come from. With a single step, he transformed from a burly man into a giant bear and charged away at high speed.

"Forget it, Myriad Demon King, you go too. Remember, do not take his life."

Di Tian watched the somewhat reckless Xiong Jun and felt uneasy, so he sent Myriad Demon King with him. Compared to Xiong Jun, Myriad Demon King had more brains.

Myriad Demon King nodded, then transformed into a streak of dark green light and flew after Xiong Jun.

"Di Tian, is he the human with the Special Destiny?"

Bi Ji, who stood nearby, spoke. Though she was asking Di Tian, her eyes were fixed on Xu Tianchen, filled with scrutiny.

"Yes. Let me introduce him. His name is Xu Tianchen," Di Tian replied. He felt a wave of regret, but his lord's plan was what mattered most.

Xu Tianchen swept his gaze over the gathered beasts before finally settling it on Di Tian.

"Senior, what exactly do you want with me?"

"We will not hide it from you. We want to make a deal with you," Di Tian said.

"With me? What do I have that warrants such a grand display from all of you just to make a deal?"

Xu Tianchen was greatly confused. What could this group of beasts possibly want from him badly enough to make a deal with him?

"Because you are someone with a Special Destiny!" Di Tian answered directly.

A Special Destiny?

Xu Tianchen was somewhat stunned. Why did they say that? Then his gaze fell upon the Three-Eyed Golden Lion beside him. When the Three-Eyed Golden Lion winked at him, realization finally dawned on him.

It must have been the Three-Eyed Golden Lion's fate attribute that sensed it: as a transmigrator, he was an outsider who had not originally belonged to this story.

For example, it was like a fish that had watched the entire history and plot of a river from outside its flow, knowing the endings of every fish and the direction of every event ahead, before jumping into that river.
