Coastal City.
Dark clouds blanketed the sky, and fierce winds howled. The daytime unrest had yet to settle, while zombies still roared viciously.
On the outskirts of the city, Shrimp Chaser led several underlings carefully through the darkness. Ever since what had happened during the day, they had not dared return to the city.
Now that they could no longer get any seafood at all, they could only catch big grasshoppers, rats, and whatever else they found in the wilderness outside the city to fill their stomachs.
"Brother Shrimp, I'm hungry..."
One of the underlings let out a series of low growls.
Shrimp Chaser was helpless as well.
"Bear with it. I'm hungry with you."
"Brother Shrimp, did something really happen to our boss?"
The zombie underling behind him asked pitifully.
Shrimp Chaser shook his head and encouraged him.
"No. I asked around this afternoon. A zombie who knew one of Azure Scale's subordinates said our boss came from Jiangbei City and has already gone back. Azure Scale is figuring out how to get revenge on him."
"Oh... I wonder which of them will win."
The zombie muttered.
The night wind howled across the wilderness with a mournful whistle. Dark clouds had filled the sky, as though rain would soon fall.
One of the zombie underlings had a particularly keen sense of smell. He sniffed the air and caught the scent of "food" drifting with the wind.
"Seems like there are humans!"
"Hm?"
The surrounding zombies all turned to look at him, skepticism written across their faces.
"Are you so hungry that you're hallucinating? How could Coastal City possibly have creatures like that?"
"If you don't believe me, look!"
The zombie stared into the distance.
Zombies possessed extremely powerful night vision. Shrimp Chaser and the others looked in that direction
