Lin Dong had seen this kind of monster before.

The owl's body had already shriveled up, as if only a layer of skin remained, plastered against the ground.

Clearly, the Parasitic Monster had also been drawn here by the meteorite.

Lin Dong felt that those creatures had never originally belonged to Blue Star. Perhaps they had come from outer space as well. Maybe... they possessed some kind of special perception of meteorites...

But moments later, a series of flapping sounds came from above the forest. Several more owls of varying sizes flew over and landed on the dense branches of the trees.

Their large, round eyes all surveyed the humans below, faintly flashing with ferocity.
