In the corridor outside, chaotic footsteps had already begun to echo. Sakazaki Masao immediately led his men out.

He held a blade in one hand and stood tall in the middle of the corridor. A cold glint flashed across its edge.

"Lord Masao, save us!"

The two Awakened ahead looked terrified as they ran frantically toward them.

Behind them was a dense mass of zombies that had already filled the entire corridor. With the space so narrow, they crowded and trampled over one another, even piling atop each other as they surged forward like floodwaters through a broken dam.

The scene was incredibly shocking.

The zombies' blood-stained, terrifying faces let out savage roars, each wave louder than the last.

The human Awakened watched cautiously, focusing as they faced them.

With one person's shout, an icy force spread out as frost condensed. An Ice Wall sealed off the corridor, attempting to halt the zombies' advance.
