"Hmm?"
Cheng Luoyi turned her head. She knew the young man before her too. His name was Bai Qi, one of Mount Dongyue Refuge's administrators.
"What is it?"
"Uh... it's about the Jiangbei City Zombie Tide migration."
"Fine, let's talk here."
Cheng Luoyi said.
Bai Qi looked around. Seeing that no one else was nearby, he began speaking.
"The zombie horde from Jiangbei City is about to sweep into Hanjiang Province."
"Mm..."
Cheng Luoyi merely nodded.
Mount Dongyue Refuge was not within Hanjiang Province, but it was not far away either, so Bai Qi was deeply worried.
Thus, he had gathered Awakened Ones designated Number 01 from various places, intending to fight the zombies and defend the refuge.
"The Jiangbei City Zombie Tide has swept across Dragon Country. It's a massive disaster for all humanity. I'm afraid that once they break through Hanjiang Province, they'll come straight for Mount Dongyue Refuge!"
"What does that have to do with me?"
Cheng Luoyi asked in return.
Her current situation was much like Ye Jian's. The Jiangbei City zombies leaving their nest was actually good news.
With Lin Dong absent, no random monsters would be drawn in to attack the refuge, nor would they be able to pin the full responsibility on her.
So, she had been living quite peacefully lately.
"..." Bai Qi was speechless, thinking that her vision was somewhat narrow.
"Luo Yi, I hope you can consider humanity's future. Everyone calls you the Light of Humanity. Don't let them down!"
"Are you trying to morally blackmail me?"
Cheng Luoyi asked bluntly.
"I..."
Bai Qi was choked into silence. Talking to her felt extremely unpleasant.
"I really am not morally blackmailing you. I just hope you can join our team against the Zombie Tide and do your part for humanity's survival.
