Counting Soul Demon, there were now four members of the Undead Race.
One word summed them up... terrifying!
Six Arms marveled inwardly. With Soul Demon's return, Northern Province would surely be thrown into turmoil and drenched in blood.
Soul Demon scanned the surroundings, remembered something, and asked,
"Oh, right! Where's Big Leech? Wasn't he with you?"
"Big Leech..." Six Arms thought back for a moment, then shook his head. "A zombie tide hit us, and we got scattered!"
"Oh."
The Big Leech Soul Demon mentioned was his other trusted lieutenant. They had been hanging around together ever since they evolved enough to become sentient.
The three zombies had fought their way up, trampling over piles of white bones as they rose to prominence in Northern Province. Their bond ran deep. In human terms, they were practically childhood friends...
Six Arms looked thoughtful.
"But don't worry. Big Leech probably isn't dead. He's most likely hiding somewhere in the Death Marsh."
"Good. We'll go find him in a bit."
Soul Demon felt a little more reassured.
Six Arms nodded. Still, the Myriad Zombie Horde occupied the area outside the valley. To leave, they would have to carve a bloody path through it.
"Roar-!"
As they spoke, savage roars rang out from outside. Clearly, a large mass of zombies had already poured into the valley.
Six Arms frowned.
"This is bad, boss! Your arrival must have disturbed the zombies outside. They've come looking for us!"
"Let them come."
Soul Demon was hardly worried. He turned to Lin Dong.
"What should we do? Fight?"
"Since we're already here, let's just kill them all."
Lin Dong spoke casually.
He now had two options: leave aboard the Command Ship or fight the zombie tide.
Clearly... Lin Dong preferred the latter.
