The Forbidden Zone was shrouded in mist, with no vegetation, no sun, and no moon.
Lin Dong was the first to appear inside.
"What kind of rotten place is this?"
As he wondered, he looked around and found the ground paved entirely with blue-gray stone slabs. Stone pillars loomed in the hazy mist, making the place look exceedingly strange.
An inexplicable pressure also filled the entire space.
Both sight and perception were severely hindered, limiting how far he could observe.
A tremendous danger seemed to lurk deep within the sea of white.
The golden energy Lin Dong had been tracking had vanished without a trace.
"Could it be... the teleportation destination is random?"
This seemed to be an independent world, much like when he had descended onto the Ancestor Star. Once someone stepped inside, there was no telling where they might appear.
Unable to get his bearings, Lin Dong could only walk forward. Not far away stood three stone pillars, each a little taller than a person. Their shapes were uniform, and they looked completely identical.
Lin Dong gave them a cursory inspection and found peculiar patterns carved into their surfaces. They actually bore some resemblance to those on the Star Map Slate.
He seemed a little closer to unraveling its secrets...
Seeing no movement from the pillars, Lin Dong paid them little attention. He walked past them and continued onward.
But before he had gone far, a rumbling came from behind him. The three stone pillars had begun moving rapidly.
They did not attack Lin Dong, however. Instead, they swept past him and stood upright farther ahead.
"Huh???"
Lin Dong was puzzled.
Do they insist on standing in front of me?
With nothing else nearby to serve as a point of reference, the scene before him was identical to
