Footsteps sounded in the corridor. That had to be Voyager.
I had just made a joke, but I knew perfectly well this Voyager wasn't the one I had in mind.
I preferred to call him the Little Prince.
In 1977, the unmanned space probe Voyager had been launched by rocket from an air force base in Florida.
After surveying planets in the Solar System, including Jupiter and Saturn, it had set out on an endless interstellar mission.
Even now, it was still flying through the sea of stars beyond the heliosphere.
That was how Fate/Grand Order described the Little Prince. If the person I was about to meet really was the one who had drifted here from Earth, we were practically relatives. If not, forget I said anything.
Little Da Vinci said, "Don't be surprised when you meet him. Voyager—or, more precisely, every person and animal in this universe—would be classified as a Foreigner if you translated them into Servant classes."
"It seems anything born in this universe becomes a Servant. This universe has another name, too: the Servant Universe. Foreigners are perfectly ordinary here."
Foreigners were rare on Earth. In the Servant Universe, they were everywhere.
The footsteps stopped outside the door. The handle turned, and Voyager walked in, looking exactly like his Fate/Grand Order illustration.
Voyager said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Director of Chaldea, the doctor who removed the blight on this universe. My name is Voyager. The Galactic Police asked me to help you develop your space mecha."
"Elsewhere, my class is Voyager. In this universe, I seem to have become a Foreigner. Of course, plenty of others here are the same."
Yuan Shikai said, "Hello, Voyager. It's a pleasure to meet you. Sorry for the trouble we're causing you with the space mecha."
