Skadi casually flicked her hand, sending a black Death Rune shooting forth like lightning, straight at Yuan Shikai.
In Fate/Grand Order, the Death Rune's attack, imbued with death itself, had caused Sherlock Holmes endless suffering; he had not fully recovered even by the time he leapt from the waterfall.
Although Skadi had struck first, she had actually given Yuan Shikai an obvious warning beforehand.

There was no way he would just stand there foolishly and take the attack head-on.
Yet, to everyone's surprise, Yuan Shikai really did stand there without moving.
Like a statue, he remained utterly still, with a smile even hanging on the corners of his lips.
It was too late for Skadi to withdraw her attack. She could only watch as the Death Rune struck him solidly.
Skadi wanted to say something, but what happened next left her speechless.
The Death Rune's power had been blocked. Or rather, the very concept
