Led by Jenn, Li Zu stopped in front of a narrow room lit by two rows of candles.
A strong stench of disinfectant hit him head-on with the air blown out by an exhaust fan.
Li Zu rubbed his nose. The smell was far stronger than in a hospital, mixed with many scents he could not identify.
"Sit inside for now. I'll go find the doctor."
Jenn tugged her balloon with her left hand and Li Zu's sleeve with her right, pulling him into the room filled with the smell of disinfectant.
She treasured this hard-earned balloon, and it was easy to see from her sapphire-like eyes just how much she liked Li Zu.
