Murakami saw Lu Xi's pretentious entrance and a vicious glint flashed through his eyes as he shouted in Japanese:
"Baka! Omae mo mau ka? Are you dancing too?"
At that moment, Lu Xi was looking up at the sky, staring at the rift torn open by the blood-red pillar of light and sensing the situation within.
Caught off guard by the shout, he raised an eyebrow slightly and slowly shifted his gaze from the sky to the members of The Hand.
With confusion in his eyes, he asked:
"Japanese? What the hell are you barking about?"
Lu Xi suddenly recalled that The Hand seemed to have deep ties to the Japanese.
Even their underlings were all dressed as ninjas.
And that seemed to trigger some hidden buff in Lu Xi's bloodline.
Lu Xi did not waste a single word. His expression turned cold as he raised a hand and clenched it tightly into a fist.
In an instant, invisible telekinetic power spread outward, enveloping the five leaders of The Hand and every ninja under their command.
Under the effects of that terrifying power, they did not even have a chance to react before their bodies burst like fragile bubbles into a mist of blood.
Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers, and Daredevil all witnessed the scene, their eyes widening in shock and their faces filled with awe at his strength.
Daredevil was especially incredulous, still recalling his years of battles with The Hand.
He had never imagined that the organization that had given him such endless headaches would be wiped out in a single second.
Daredevil stood frozen for a while before seemingly recovering from his shock. Then he suddenly shouted:
"How could you kill all of them? They should have been judged by the law. We have no right to carry out vigilante justice!"
Lu Xi glanced sideways at him but ignored Daredevil entirely, his attention drawn to Steve Rogers.
In his eyes, Captain America's soul shone brilliantly, as bright as a giant lightbulb. Its radiance was no less dazzling than Tony's.
Seeing that Lu Xi was completely ignoring him, Daredevil grew anxious and continued:
"Hey, did you hear me? No matter how strong you are, you can't just take other people's lives!"
"What you did was trample on the law! What kind of superhero are you?"
Lu Xi finally turned his attention back to Daredevil. The corner of his mouth lifted into a teasing smile.
"I never said I was a superhero. If you think I broke the law, then try arresting me."
As he spoke, he deliberately held out both hands as if willing to put on handcuffs himself, his eyes full of mockery.
Naturally, Daredevil understood that Lu Xi was making fun of him, and his face flushed red with anger.
"You... ah!"
Before he could finish speaking, Peggy Carter sent him flying with a crisp Leo Flying Kick.
Like a kite with its string cut, Daredevil flew a full three blocks away.
Peggy Carter had led S.H.I.E.L.D. for many years. As a battle-hardened agent, she had always acted decisively and without hesitation.
She had no patience for Daredevil rambling on about some no-killing principle.
Even if they had been comrades fighting side by side just moments ago.
After all, there were clearly more urgent matters that needed to be dealt with.
Peggy Carter did not spare Daredevil another thought. Pointing anxiously at the sky, she asked Lu Xi:
"Sir, what is that?"
Lu Xi looked relaxed, but there was a trace of sarcasm in his voice.
"Inside that rift is the Hell Dimension. They are planning to descend upon Earth."
"I have to say, bringing Hell down upon Hell's Kitchen makes it even more hellish. Hell paired with Hell tastes even better."
The terrifying rift in the sky was not the only problem. The situation on the ground was no better.
The view shifted to the ground, where a massive magic circle was slowly emerging from the ruins of the building.
The formation emitted an eerie green glow, and the space within its range became extremely unstable.
Then, one grotesque, ferocious-looking demon after another crawled out of the magic circle.
Their bodies were twisted and deformed, giving off a nauseating stench of rot as low, sinister growls rolled from their mouths.
Lu Xi merely swept his gaze over the demons on the ground before immediately making his decision.
"I'll leave this place to you. My battlefield is in the sky."
With that, he stomped down hard, and the ground instantly cracked beneath the force.
His entire body shot into the sky like a brilliant meteor, carried upward by a powerful blast of air.
Upon reaching the rift, he closed his eyes slightly and briefly sensed the situation inside before plunging in without hesitation.
After passing through the rift, Lu Xi looked around.
The surroundings were barren, and the uneven ground looked as if it had been repeatedly hammered by countless immense forces.
Scalding magma occasionally erupted from underground with bubbling sounds.
The splashing magma landed all around with hissing noises, sending clouds of smoke rising into the air.
Not far ahead of Lu Xi, four demon gods had already been waiting for quite some time.
At the very front stood Black-Winged Lucifer, who had been "forced" into coming as the vanguard.
Mephisto was still dressed like an old gentleman in a tailcoat. Hiding behind Black-Winged Lucifer, he spoke with surprise on his face.
"Lucifer from a parallel world, you actually dared to come here on your own?"
As Mephisto spoke, he could not help laughing, his laughter exceptionally eerie.
"You don't even know who you're facing, do you? Come, come. Allow me to introduce them."
He first extended a hand and pointed at Black-Winged Lucifer.
"This is Lucifer from our native Universe."
Then he pointed at a tall demon god beside him, whose body was surrounded by dense dark energy.
"This is the legendary god of Black Magic, the god of the underworld, the ancient god—Chthon."
"His true form is a Multiversal-level supreme demon god!"
Then he pointed toward another demon god emanating a blood-red glow.
"This is the ruler of the Crimson Universe, the Lord of Crimson—Cyttorak."
"In his own Universe, he is practically omnipotent! He is also a Multiversal-level supreme demon god!"
As Lu Xi listened to Mephisto's introduction, he spared a thread of consciousness to sense Ancient One's situation.
Outside Earth's defensive magic formation, Ancient One was facing three demon gods—Baphomet, Beelzebub, and Satannish.
Ancient One moved both hands, swiftly creating a Mirror Dimension and pulling the three demon gods inside.
Within the Mirror Dimension, Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme, displayed terrifying power.
Spells flowed endlessly from her hands, dazzling magical techniques blossoming one after another. She was even using dark magic and White Magic together.
The roars of the demon gods echoed through the Mirror Dimension.
"What the hell is this? You believe in Vishanti, so why do you know so much dark magic?!"
"Ancient One, just you wait! I'll write a complaint letter to Vishanti later. I'll definitely expose you!"
The Sorcerer Supreme fought three demon gods alone without falling into the slightest disadvantage, leaving the three of them utterly bewildered.
Lu Xi hurriedly sent his voice over.
"Ancient One, can you still hold on over there?"
Ancient One's voice was somewhat grave.
"I cannot hold them back for long. End this as quickly as you can, or something will really go wrong."
At this moment, within the rift to Hell.
Mephisto had just finished his introduction. With a smug smile on his face, he looked at Lu Xi and asked:
"Now, do you regret coming here on your own to die?"
Before you continue
