History
Xuan Ziwen first examines Huo Yuhao after hearing that the new academy student has a spiritual-attribute Body Martial Soul. Huo Yuhao's low innate soul power and apparent ten-year soul ring disappoint him, but Mental Detection Sharing changes his assessment: Xuan Ziwen recognizes its value for inscribing Soul Tool Core Arrays. When Jing Hongchen also offers to teach Huo Yuhao, Xuan Ziwen protests, and Huo Yuhao chooses him 7 8.
As Huo Yuhao's teacher, Xuan Ziwen gives him a Mystic Water Pill and a Soul Ascension Pill, then teaches him metal identification, Soul Guidance Device forging, and Core Array inscription. He certifies Huo Yuhao as a First-Level Soul Engineer after seeing his Soul Guidance Concussion Bomb 8 12 13.
Their work later extends to Humanoid Soul Tools. After Xuan Ziwen's proposed Soul Tool for storing soul rings reaches a research bottleneck, Huo Yuhao suggests developing the Ice Extreme War God Armor instead. Xuan Ziwen works with Huo Yuhao and Kong Deming to complete it, then argues that its performance justifies further Humanoid Soul Tool research 241 242 261 262. He subsequently reports a Core Array breakthrough for Battle Armor and helps forge two sets of One-Word Battle Armor with Jing Hongchen 846 848.
