Voldemort: Damn Bastards
Knockturn Alley, the alleyway where Quirrell was blocked.
"Quirrell, I know you're Dumbledore's new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, and we don't want to have a conflict with you."
Old Borgin stood in front of the foul-mouthed Thompson and said calmly, "If you promise us you won't dump your inferior Potions into Knockturn Alley anymore, we can let you go and pretend this never happened."
"Not only that, the four great families of Knockturn Alley can also provide you with a smuggling route free of charge, helping you circulate those Potions into the French Wizarding World."
Old Borgin had fought Quirrell before and knew how powerful Quirrell. If Snape hadn't been there, he probably would have been dead on the spot. So, he didn't want to force Quirrell. Who knew if such a powerful dark wizard had any means to take them with him before he died?
The already powerful and influential Old Borgin was unwilling to take this risk, preferring to sacrifice some of his own interests.
After hearing Old Borgin's words, Quirrell was completely bewildered. He had no idea what had happened, why he was being followed by dark wizards, or why he was now cornered in an alley by several pure-blooded dark wizards Quirrell.
"Say yes, Quirrell!"
Just as Quirrell was hesitating, Voldemort's voice, like that of a viper, rang in Quirrell's mind.
Although Voldemort didn't know exactly what had happened, the best course of action was undoubtedly to escape as quickly as possible, so agreeing to the demands of these Pure-blood families wouldn't hurt.
Since his master had spoken, Quirrell naturally didn't hesitate and said, "Okay, as long as you let me leave, I promise not to Knockturn Alley anymore."
I hope you remember your promise!
Old Borgin gave Quirrell a deep look, then turned and left first.
He was actually the one among these pure-blood dark wizards who feared Quirrell the most, because he had witnessed Quirrell's terrifying Killing Curse.
After Old Borgin left, the other Pure-blood families patriarchs also turned and left. Only Old Thompson, the patriarch of the Thompson family, made a throat-slitting gesture at Quirrell and glared at Quirrell fiercely.
Just when the four families thought the matter was resolved, the two sides had reconciled, Quirrell had obtained the route to smuggle into the French Wizarding World, and their position in Knockturn Alley had been solidified once again, another incident occurred.
"Chieftain, another large batch of potions of unknown origin has flooded our market today."
In the study of the Thompson family ancestral home, old Thompson listened angrily to his subordinates' report.
"They did what they always did, using Lord Snape's name and claiming it was a superior Polyjuice Potion. As a result, all the wizards who drank it turned into strange and bizarre creatures, and they couldn't change back!"
Old Thompson: "..."
"That's not all! The Cheering Potion' sold in our market has killed someone again! Those despicable counterfeit drug dealers are back!!!"
The speaker was the Thompson family's butler, who managed the Thompson family's Potions business. Just a few days ago, the family had told him the matter was resolved and they could sell Potions normally again, but now...
After hearing the report, the patriarch of the Thompson family turned pale and then purple, and finally trembled with anger before finally uttering a single sentence.
"You son of a bitch Quirrell! Find me the most powerful dark wizard in the entire Wizarding World! I must kill this bastard!!!"
"Tell all the dark wizards in the Knockturn Alley if they can kill that bastard Quirrell, my Thompson family is willing to give up one-tenth of the profits from the Potions market!"
The butler was shocked as soon as he finished speaking. The Potions market controlled by the Thompson family was the largest Potions dumping ground in the entire Wizarding World. Even a tenth of the profit was an Astronomy figure.
Thompson knew that a one-tenth profit was a lot, but he had to kill Quirrell, the fake drug dealer, because if he didn't kill Quirrell, his market would never open, and he wouldn't make a single penny.
Therefore, he'd rather spend a fortune to kill that bastard Quirrell!
After the patriarch of the Thompson family spoke, the information immediately spread throughout the dark wizarding Wizarding World.
Quirinus Quirrell's name became a household name among all dark wizards. Every dark wizard, whether powerful or weak, dreamed of killing Quirrell because they knew it was their chance to rise to the top.
If they controlled one-tenth of the Potions market in Knockturn Alley, they could instantly transform from frontline dark wizards into powerful underworld bosses who could sit back and relax – that would be a leap in social class.
Therefore, no dark wizard could remain unmoved by such a reward, and even the other three families on par with the Thompson family were extremely tempted.
"Mr. Quirrell, are you in your room? We are room service; breakfast has been prepared for you."
Inside the Leaky Cauldron, Quirrell thought for a moment and said, "Come in!"
Since he was cornered last time, Quirrell has been staying in the Leaky Cauldron. He doesn't know who tried to frame him, but that person clearly succeeded.
Knowing that going out on his own would be dangerous, he stayed in the Broken Hair Pub, waiting for Hogwarts to start.
The Leaky Cauldron was the most important property of the Abbott family. He believed that ordinary dark wizards would not dare to Broken Hair Pub. Unfortunately, Quirrell did not know that wealth is a powerful motivator, and now Quirrell's life was more important than the Abbott family's revenge.
Before Quirrell could react, the door was blasted open from the outside and slammed into the wall of the guest room.
If Quirrell hadn't just gotten up to open the door, he probably would have been half-dead from the impact.
"Who are you people?" Quirrell was both shocked and furious. This was the Abbott family's territory; how could anyone dare to make a move here?
Unfortunately, these malevolent dark wizards had no intention of answering him and instead unleashed several ruthless Killing Curse.
"Avada Gnaw-the-Melon!"
In an instant, several Killing Curse suddenly attacked Quirrell from the doorway; the small room offered Quirrell no space to hide.
Just as Quirrell was about to be hit by the Killing Curse, Voldemort intervened!
Voldemort, positioned at the back of Quirrell's head, naturally couldn't stand by and watch his henchman be killed by the Killing Curse, so before Quirrell could react, he forcefully took over Quirrell's body.
"Damn scum!"
A red light flashed in Voldemort's eyes, and then, disregarding the possibility of revealing his identity, he immediately adopted his signature fighting stance.
Raise the wand above your right shoulder, parallel to your ear, with your middle and ring fingers gripping two-thirds of the wand, back of your hand facing up and palm facing down, forming a triangle.
