Sweeping Through Azkaban

Inside the silent Auror office building, Lester expressionlessly pushed open the doors to the first-floor lobby and strode outside.

Setting foot on Azkaban again, Lester felt that this place and the inside of the office building were practically two different worlds.

The three Aurors following closely behind him felt a gust of sinister wind blow over them the instant they stepped out of the lobby. It felt as though they had fallen into a bottomless ice pit, shivering all over from the cold.

Lester was not surprised by this. Although these Aurors had been stationed in Azkaban year-round, because of the Dementors, they spent most of their time inside the Auror office building. Only when new prisoners were delivered each week did they go out to help escort them.

So it was perfectly normal for them to be unaccustomed to it after suddenly stepping outside.

Watching the three men tremble uncontrollably in the harsh environment, Lester frowned and waved his little hand.

"Fire Shield Charm!"

A stream of blue Fiendfyre immediately appeared around Lester and continuously expanded, forming a semicircular protective barrier large enough to hold ten adults.

The barrier tightly enveloped all four of them.

The sinister wind, which had occasionally carried a trace of chill, was like a small pond meeting a blazing fire when it encountered the massive Fiendfyre barrier. The moment it touched the shield, it was scattered, unable to stir even the slightest ripple across its surface.

Protected by Lester's blue Fiendfyre, Hafiz and the other two, who had still been struggling to adapt to Azkaban's harsh environment, felt warmth spread through their bodies and were filled with a sense of security.

"Stay close to me!"

Lester turned back and gave Hafiz and the others an order before striding ahead to lead the way.

At that moment, with a massive Fiendfyre barrier surrounding him, he was like a torch lit in the darkness as he walked across the gloomy Azkaban Island, instantly drawing the attention of countless Dementors.

The blue Fiendfyre barrier, as large as a basketball court, gave off enough light to illuminate the land for a hundred miles around.

Dementors, who naturally loved darkness and hated light, immediately noticed Lester, this uninvited guest.

Lester had only taken a few steps out of the Auror office building with Hafiz and the other two when they encountered a lone Dementor.

The Dementor had yet to realize that danger was approaching and was still wandering aimlessly across the island.

The instant they saw it, Hafiz and the other two grew tense and reached for their wands, preparing to cast the Patronus Charm.

After all, in their eyes, the Patronus Charm was the only thing in the entire Wizarding World capable of harming a dark creature like a Dementor.

"You don't need to do anything. Just watch!"

Lester turned back to stop Hafiz and the others. A cold gleam flashed through his eyes as he waved his little hand at the Dementor.

Whoosh!

A blazing tongue of flame shot from the protective barrier around Lester with lightning speed, flying toward the Dementor before it could react.

The terrifying Fiendfyre carried boundless heat. The instant it appeared in the air, it scorched the surrounding air until it crackled and popped.

"Woo? Woooo!!!"

The wandering Dementor was struck directly by the Fiendfyre tongue. It had only managed a few agonized screams before the Fiendfyre instantly burned it into ash.

"So strong!" Hafiz, standing behind Lester, watched the Dementor turn to ash in an instant, his pupils shrinking sharply.

After all, even battle-hardened Aurors found it difficult to deal with dark creatures like Dementors. Yet Lester, who was only ten years old, had killed one with a mere wave of his hand. How could Hafiz not be shocked?

Unlike Hafiz, who was shocked by the power of Fiendfyre, Lester was deep in thought.

"I only need to kill ninety-eight more Dementors for my Fire Shield Charm to level up!"

Of the four spells he currently possessed, only Fire Shield still had room for improvement, and it was also one of Lester's stronger area-of-effect spells.

If he could level Fire Shield up to Level 2 by killing Dementors now, it would undoubtedly be of immense help to his plan to cause chaos at the Ministry of Magic tomorrow.

For a moment, Lester was no longer in any hurry to bring Hafiz and the others back to Azkaban Prison.

Instead, he led Hafiz and the other two around Azkaban Island, swaggering about as he began sweeping through the place.

If he wanted to take control of Azkaban, he first had to deal with these Dementors that fed on humans. Clearing them out now would not only raise the level of his Fire Shield, but also make it easier for him to take control of all Azkaban.

Thus, Lester quietly led Hafiz and the others in a circle around Azkaban Island.

Before long, they encountered another three lone Dementors.

Their tattered cloaks, floating bodies, and the intermittent sinister winds around them constantly affected Azkaban's environment.

Having already treated Azkaban as his own territory, Lester naturally could not stand the sight of that. With a wave of his little hand, he casually released three tongues of flame and easily burned the three environment-wrecking Dementors into ash.

The system notification rang three times in succession beside Lester's ear, signaling that his Fire Shield Charm proficiency had increased by another three points.

"Beautiful!" Lester's eyes lit up. He led Hafiz and the other two onward at a faster pace, beginning another sweep through Azkaban.

If they wanted to reach Azkaban Prison quickly, the best route would have been a straight line.

But Lester refused to do that. If he traveled in a straight line, although he would encounter plenty of Dementors as he continued deeper in, some would inevitably slip through the net.

So Lester decided to follow a semicircular route, gradually closing in on Azkaban Prison while killing every Dementor he saw, making a contribution to Azkaban's landscaping project.

Even if he exhausted himself to death today, Lester would sweep through all of Azkaban!
