Prison Turmoil

The dark, damp cell was occasionally swept by chilly gusts.

Seeing Lester suddenly vanish, everyone in the cell was terrified.

Since they had been imprisoned in Azkaban, they were naturally no ordinary people. They had all seen their share of the wizarding world.

"Brat, get your ass out here!" The tower-like brute glared furiously, scrutinizing every corner of the cell in search of Lester.

That little brat could cast the Disillusionment Charm without a wand, but there had to be some trace of him eventually.

The floor of the damp cell was covered in mud and grit.

Whether adult or child, anyone who stepped on it would leave behind footprints.

At the thought, a vicious grin spread across the brute's face. His eyes stayed fixed on the floor, ready to attack the instant he noticed anything unusual.

Unfortunately, no matter how long he waited, the tower-like brute found no trace of Lester.

Having used the God-tier Invisibility Technique, Lester seemed to have truly vanished into thin air, disappearing within the prison.

Still invisible, Lester could not help but chuckle as he watched the tower-like brute diligently searching for him.

His gaze began exploring the cell as well.

By his reckoning, a place like a prison ought to have weapons made by the inmates.

As long as he could find their weapons while invisible, he could launch a fatal attack on these prisoners.

Lester's gaze kept drifting toward the beds. Carefully avoiding the inmates in the cell, he finally reached the bunk bed.

It was obvious that the sleeping arrangements were terribly unfair.

The lower bunk was piled with all kinds of trash, and the bedding gave off a strange smell.

The upper bunk was entirely different. It could not be called clean and tidy, but compared to the garbage-heap conditions below, it was far better.

If nothing unexpected had happened, the upper bunk belonged to the cell boss—the tower-like brute.

Thanks to the God-tier Invisibility Technique, Lester made no sound as he climbed the rails to the upper bunk and easily reached the brute's bed.

He carefully felt around beneath the brute's pillow and soon found what he wanted.

A sharp little knife made of stone.

Gripping the knife's handle carefully, Lester slowly pulled it out from under the pillow.

Just as with the Disillusionment Charm, items held by the caster also became invisible. Thus, no one noticed Lester holding the knife.

Lester let his legs hang loosely off the bed, propped his chin on one hand, and watched the brute perform.

Inside the cell, unable to see Lester, the tower-like brute had no choice but to use the clumsiest method.

Indiscriminate attacks!

The brute swung his powerful fists through the air, repeatedly launching fierce attacks at the space around him in hopes of hitting the invisible Lester.

Unfortunately, he still found nothing.

Even after punching through the foul-smelling toilet area, the brute still failed to find any trace of Lester.

It was as though Lester had truly disappeared completely from the prison.

After punching the air who knew how many times, the brute finally stopped, panting heavily. He was a tower-like brute, not an iron brute.

No matter how tough someone was, they would grow tired after throwing that many punches.

"Did that brat escape?" The brute drew rough breaths, still wondering where Lester had gone.

Little did he know that Lester was lying comfortably on his bed, watching his frantic performance below as though watching a monkey show.

"It's time to make a move." Watching the panting brute, a cold glint flashed in Lester's eyes as he tightly gripped the knife he had found beneath the brute's pillow.

He was no saint. If others left him alone, he left them alone. But if they provoked him, he would kill them.

Having been wrongfully imprisoned, Lester had long prepared himself for a killing spree.

After all, this was prison, not school. No one would praise him for being kind.

Only by being ruthless enough could he gain a foothold in prison.

"If you want someone to blame, blame yourself for choosing the wrong target." A trace of killing intent appeared in Lester's eyes. He leaped down from the upper bunk.

Thanks to the God-tier Invisibility Technique, Lester, who should have landed with a loud crash, appeared on the ground without making a sound.

Moving with the gait of an assassin from a movie, Lester closed in on the panting brute step by step.

One step, two steps, three steps.

Like a top assassin, the invisible Lester arrived behind the brute without him noticing in the slightest.

His small hand clenched tightly around the stone knife. With a fierce expression, Lester suddenly lunged forward, raised the knife high, and viciously drove it into the brute's kidney.

Squelch!

The sharp knife slid smoothly into the brute's body, and crimson blood sprayed uncontrollably from his kidney.

"Ah!"

With his kidney badly wounded, the brute endured the pain and let out a pained groan.

His broad face rapidly flushed, turning an eerie purplish red.

Yet his gaze became even more savage. Eyes like those of a giant bear stared fixedly at the blood spraying from his wound.

Although his kidney was in excruciating pain, the brute was inwardly delighted.

In fact, he had deliberately exposed an opening earlier, giving Lester the chance to stab him.

As long as his blood splashed onto that little brat, no matter how well Lester could turn invisible, he would be forced to reveal himself.

Then would not the skinny Lester be completely at his mercy?

A small gash had been cut into the brute's right side by the knife. Crimson blood continuously flowed from the wound, gathering into a small puddle on the ground.

Scarlet blood sprayed from the brute's wound, splashing rapidly toward Lester.

Watching the blood about to splash onto him, Lester did not panic in the slightest. With the God-tier Invisibility Technique, he had no need to fear that the blood would stain him.

Sure enough, the sprinkler-like spray of blood seemed unable to sense Lester at all. It passed directly through his transparent body and splashed onto the floor, leaving the brute utterly stunned.

At the same time, the other prisoners in the cell were terrified by the bizarre sight.

Of course they were scared. Someone had been standing there perfectly fine, then a bloody hole suddenly appeared in his body. Who would not be afraid?

Especially when it was happening right before their eyes.

[Ding! Fear Points from prisoner Leonardo: +100] [Ding! Fear Points from prisoner Quentin: +100] ...

Very soon, seven messages appeared before the still-invisible Lester, informing him that he had gained 700 Fear Points.

"This works too?" Looking at the 700 Fear Points on the system panel, Lester was overwhelmed with delight.

Earlier, when he saw that a single draw required 1,000 Fear Points, he had thought they would be difficult to obtain.

Now it seemed that merely stabbing the brute once had earned him 700 Fear Points.

If he stabbed him a few more times, would his Fear Points not go through the roof?
