The Fewer the Words, the Bigger the Trouble-an Enemy from the Heavens?

The Taoist Huang Tian never became Huang Tian. Instead, he became yellow earth, smashed to pieces by Duan Yun and scattered everywhere.

The brains crammed into his head and the hearts crammed into his upper body were useless now, no matter how many he had.

A car could have any number of engines, but once the car itself was gone, they were useless.

Among the remains on the ground lay strands that looked like rainbow-colored twigs.

Duan Yun found them somewhat familiar.

He had once hauled a chest out of the water. Inside was a strange Man-Bear that behaved much like a human and had even practiced martial arts. When he cut open its head, he found a human brain inside.

That human brain had been connected to the bear's brain by similar twigs.

But the strands before him looked more "advanced," more like living flesh. The difference between the two was plainly one of quality.

Clearly, this was where that chest in the water had come from.

Duan Yun had sworn back then to kill whoever was behind that grotesque prank. Through a twist of fate, the Taoist Huang Tian had delivered himself to his door.

The Taoist Huang Tian was evidently skilled at this kind of "grafting." He had grafted on many hearts and human brains, absorbing the memories of numerous peerless masters and becoming extraordinarily "learned" and "long-lived." That explained why he knew so much.

In a sense, he had never been fighting alone. Even Duan Yun, with his own bewildering array of skills, had felt outmatched in that respect.

Yet the Taoist Huang Tian had lost in the end.

Because he had never understood the true worth of World-Shaking Wisdom.
