Gao Jing sorted through his backpack once more.

After making sure nothing inside had been left behind, he deftly slung it onto his back.

Just as he had looked when he first returned.

Two days earlier, Gao Jing had received the full set of licenses for the Hong Kong Island Great World Import-Export Trading Company, along with its seal and other items.

The eighty tons of custom-packaged coarse salt had also been neatly stacked in the warehouse.

Right before his eyes.

Besides that, there were two hundred blocks of peanut sesame candy weighing a total of one ton!

The pastry shop owner had been quite thoughtful. Not only had he personally delivered the goods, he had also carefully wrapped every large peanut candy block tightly in plastic wrap.

As for the tent and other miscellaneous items he had cleared out to make room before returning to the Main World last time, Gao Jing put them back into the Copper Anchor.

Just in case.

Gao Jing did not let the Giant Rhino Packbeast travel too far.

He found a small grove nearby to serve as a temporary foothold.

Because time was frozen, not much time had passed since Gao Jing left the Mountain Stronghold. If he returned now, he would have no way to explain where he had procured so many things.

So, to protect his secret, Gao Jing had to spend enough time out in the wilderness.

To give both himself and others a reasonable explanation.

Because the Giant Rhino Packbeast could remember roads it had traveled before, it would not get lost.

Like an old horse that knew the way, it could find its own way home.

Gao Jing had Pipi Rhino proceed slowly all the way.

Near noon, he saw the valley's stockade wall in the distance ahead.

Suddenly, Gao Jing, standing atop the Pack Beast's back, narrowed his eyes.

He saw a figure racing swiftly toward his location.

Shan Guo'er!

When Gao Jing saw who it was, he could not help being startled.

How had she known he was back?

"Gao~ Jing~"

From several li away, Shan Guo'er ran while calling Gao Jing's name.

Her crisp voice echoed across the wilderness.

Hearing that familiar voice, a warm current inexplicably surged through Gao Jing's heart.

It felt a little strange.

He opened his mouth, then waved at the little girl racing toward him and shouted, "I'm here!"

Shan Guo'er was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, she had reached the front of the Giant Rhino Packbeast.

She leaped toward its back!

But Shan Guo'er landed steadily on the Pack Beast's rear neck, still two meters away from where he had originally been.

She had judged her landing point with perfect accuracy.

Then, a little hand reached out toward Gao Jing.
