Having His Turf Poached

After returning to Cloud City, Gao Jing continued living his routine life, shuttling between three points and one line.

His home at Minglan Grand View, the Lion Peak Mountain Estate still under construction, and the Charity Hospital already in operation.

Gao Jing planned to return to the Great World only after Copper Anchor's Faith Power had accumulated back to more than one-third.

But a ripple disturbed this peaceful life.

One day, he went to the Charity Hospital as usual for an inspection, harvesting a wave of Faith Power along the way, only to be invited into Liu Xingtai's office.

"Old Gao."

Liu Xingtai poured Gao Jing a cup of tea and asked, "Do you still remember our class monitor?"

"Xiao Ya?"

Gao Jing was surprised. "Of course I remember her. How could I possibly forget?"

Liu Xingtai was referring to Xiao Ya, their class monitor back in university. Though they had not met for several years after graduation, Gao Jing still remembered this straightforward Northeastern girl very clearly.

"I remember she got into graduate school at Capital News University. Wasn't she working as a reporter for some news website?"

"That's right."

Handing the teacup to Gao Jing, Liu Xingtai said, "She called me last night and told me something."

After hearing Liu Xingtai out, Gao Jing frowned. "Something like that happened? I'll ask her myself."

He borrowed Liu Xingtai's phone and called Xiao Ya back directly.

Gao Jing had changed his personal phone number long ago. Only relatives and friends in his contacts could reach him.

He had even left the class group chat.

So he had lost contact with most of his former classmates.

After speaking with Xiao Ya for a few minutes, Gao Jing said to Liu Xingtai, "I plan to investigate this myself. I'm going to Dragon
