Bing Yekong and Shui Bing'er battled the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, a 990,000-year soul beast that could take human form. They defeated it with their combined Ice Phoenix Strike and Bing Yekong's Asura Demon Sword, and a golden-red Soul Ring rose from its body.

• Bing Yekong and Shui Bing'er confronted the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King as it emerged from the sea and transformed into a purple-gold giant.

Bing Yekong completed the Sea God and Asura inheritances, becoming a god, while Bo Saixi and Tang Chen died. After returning to the continent, he learned that Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong had also become gods, and the forces began gathering in Element City.

• Bing Yekong absorbed the 990,000-year Soul Ring and torso bone, broke through the limit of level ninety-nine, and completed the eighth trial, which raised Shui Bing'er to level ninety-nine.
• Bing Yekong purified the seal on Tang Chen in Slaughter City and brought him back to Bo Saixi on Sea God Island.
