Xiao descended beneath the Hyuga altar and found an unstable Starry Sky Ancient Road leading to another world. As he tried to seal the vortex, an unknown presence on the other side noticed him.

Xiao confronted a projection from the Moon Ōtsutsuki Branch Family that emerged through the damaged passage and demanded his eyes and the passage’s coordinates. He overwhelmed it with the Tenseigan and began crushing its chakra projection.

• Xiao paused as a puppet forced its way through the closing passage, then watched it disintegrate and leave behind a pale chakra projection.
• The projection identified itself as a member of the Moon Ōtsutsuki Branch Family, insulted Xiao, and demanded the passage’s coordinates and his eyes.
