"Aren't you going to say something?"
Mitaraishi Anko stared intensely at Ye Fan.
She increasingly felt that this boy was far too mysterious.
Setting aside the pills he had refined, the talismans he had just used alone were enough to send chills down one's spine.
"It seems you've run out of medicine, Senior. If you stop midway, it may cause a relapse. Don't blame my pills when that happens."
Ye Fan changed the subject, steering the conversation toward the pills.
"I nearly forgot if you hadn't mentioned it." Mitaraishi Anko seemed to lose her temper. "Tell me, exactly how many pills do I need to take?"
Though she did not spell it out, Ye Fan understood what she meant.
"Around twenty pills!" Ye Fan did not sound entirely certain.
Mitaraishi Anko frowned and pressed him step by step. "What if it takes more than that?"
She did not want to become a slave to pills.
"After twenty pills, if your Cursed Seal still cannot be completely removed, then all further pills will be free. You won't need to pay another cent."
Mitaraishi Anko froze at that answer.
She had never expected Ye Fan to say such a thing.
Had she misunderstood him?
"What pills?"
Asuma Sarutobi, standing nearby, was completely confused.
Before anyone could answer his question, a ninja approached from afar.
At once, everyone's attention was drawn to that ninja.
"I didn't interrupt anything, did I?" The newcomer smiled faintly.
Asuma Sarutobi, Kurenai Yuhi, and Mitaraishi Anko all knew this man. He was a special staff member who assisted the Hokage with his daily work.
