Douluo God Realm.
"San, it's bad. Little Seven, she... she sneaked off to Douluo Continent."
For any responsible mother, hearing that her daughter had run away from home was enough to cause instant panic.
Even Xiao Wu, who had already attained godhood, was no exception.
"Xiao Wu, don't worry, I'm here."
As the enforcer of the God Realm, everything that transpired within it could not escape Tang San's discerning eyes.
If Tang Wutong had gone to any other minor world, Tang San might have felt a bit anxious.
But Douluo Continent?
That was the very world they had ascended from originally.
What difference was there between their daughter going there and taking a trip back to her hometown?
Meanwhile, just as Tang Wutong was preparing to descend to the lower realm and seal her cultivation and memories, a streak of light of unknown origin suddenly hurtled straight toward her.
"What... what the heck?"
Before Tang Wutong could react, she was enveloped by that streak of light, plunged into Douluo Continent, and subsequently lost consciousness.
Six years later.
Inside Clear Sky Sect.
Several years ago, Da Ming and Er Ming had received a transmission from the God Realm stating that Little Seven had arrived on Douluo Continent with her cultivation and memories sealed, asking the two of them to help look after her.
In the eyes of Da Ming and Er Ming, Sister Xiao Wu's daughter was no different from their own flesh and blood.
Therefore, upon learning this news, Da Ming and Er Ming waited in anticipation inside Clear Sky Castle.
Fearing that Little Seven might look in the wrong place, the two of them frequently wandered around the areas surrounding Clear Sky Sect.
Yet as time slowly passed, they never once caught sight of Little Seven's reincarnated form.
The two men were somewhat bewildered.
At first, they figured that a day in heaven was a year on earth, and that a time difference existed between the two realms.
Thus, Little Seven's reincarnation hadn't arrived quite that quickly.
But as the years ticked by year after year.
Da Ming finally couldn't hold back anymore and sent a transmission to Xiao Wu in the God Realm: Um, Sister Xiao Wu, when is Little Seven actually coming? Can you give me a definite answer?
After all, the two of them were reclusive old fellows who spent every day wandering around their sect.
Anyone who didn't know better would have thought Clear Sky Sect was about to reemerge into the world.
"What? Didn't Little Seven go down there ages ago?!"
The voice Xiao Wu transmitted from the God Realm carried an unmistakable trace of panic.
This was her biological daughter who had gone missing; what mother wouldn't panic?
Immediately afterward, Xiao Wu hurriedly went to find her third brother, regardless of whether it was currently working hours.
On the other side, Tang San, who was busy with official duties, saw Xiao Wu run over with red, tear-rimmed eyes. His expression instantly darkened.
During working hours, seeing a wife run to him in tears would naturally make a husband's first reaction that something had happened at home.
Yet what could possibly go wrong in his, Tang San's, household?
Could it be that Xiao Wu felt bored staying home alone and wanted him to go back and keep her company?
Tang San: You're already a mother, how can you still act like such a child.
However, the very next second, the words that spilled from Xiao Wu's lips instantly sent Tang San into a panic.
"San, Little Seven... Little Seven is gone!"
"Xiao Wu, you must have had a nightmare. Didn't our Little Seven head to Douluo Continent a few days ago?"
As he spoke, Tang San reached out and gently rubbed the top of Xiao Wu's head.
This silly girl must have woken up, found Little Seven missing, and consequently forgotten all about Little Seven's departure for Douluo Continent.
They said pregnancy makes a woman foolish for three years, but how could she still be this foolish when their child was already so grown up?
"San, it's not like that. Da Ming and Er Ming sent a transmission saying they haven't seen Little Seven at all."
"They even asked us when Little Seven was heading down to the lower realm."
"What!"
For a moment, Tang San panicked.
However, thinking of the strand of divine sense he had left on his daughter, Tang San immediately calmed down.
He began tracing that wisp of divine sense to sense Little Seven's location.
Yet that wisp of divine sense felt as though it had been half-shielded; no matter how Tang San tried to sense it, he found he could not locate Little Seven.
It was as if Little Seven had never gone to Douluo Continent at all.
Tang San: H-How is that possible?
At this, Tang San panicked completely!
