Wherever one went, great power could always drive people mad and make them lose themselves in it.

That was exactly what had happened to William Thomas.

"Do you think I've become corrupted?" William Thomas noticed Katelyle shaking his head and smiled. "Do you think this immense power has blinded me?"

"You can think that, but let me tell you this: from the very beginning, I wanted great power, and I've never wavered."

"After I came to this world, nothing held me back anymore. I could slaughter to my heart's content, so I kept growing stronger."

"I thought I could rule this world, but only when the Holy Spirit Wizard appeared did I realize that even greater power existed here."
