Mount Arata was the gathering place of the orcs, home to the largest concentration of fighting forces in this world.
But what had become of it now?
It lay in ruins, with no telling how many orcs had died within. Those still outside had either narrowly escaped the disaster or fled the battlefield and only now returned.
And now, every one of those orcs hung their heads, filled with despair.
Their homes were gone, their kin were gone, and they had become pitiful, homeless souls.
These orcs had already lost the courage to fight. Sending them back onto the battlefield would only send them to their deaths.
But for the sake of the plan, he had no choice.
Taking a deep breath, Ganes led the Death Eaters down into Mount Arata to rally the orcs.
"Ganes, you owe us an explanation."
Just as Ganes and his men were gathering the orcs at Mount Arata, an elderly orc wearing a beast-hide robe and carrying a scepter approached and spoke angrily.
Ganes turned to the approaching orc and said, "High Priest Barrow, I deeply regret what happened. This time, we face an extremely dangerous enemy."
"This time, we will spare no effort to kill that man."
"But before that, I need your help. While we keep him occupied, you must take Aisladu again."
High Priest Barrow was both the orcs' priest and their ruler.
Fortunately, he had gone out in search of medicinal herbs and thus escaped the disaster.
The collapse of Mount Arata and the deaths of his people filled High Priest Barrow with utter despair.
But he could do nothing to change what had happened.
Hearing Ganes's words, High Priest Barrow shook his head. "My people cannot
