Luna and Hermione looked at Lauren Alice's beautiful back, their eyes full of envy.
No woman disliked beauty, especially beauty like Lauren Alice's—the kind everyone dreamed of possessing.
Yet such a beauty had fallen into unrequited love and seemed unable to free herself from it.
"As expected of Professor Kate—powerful and incredibly handsome. No wonder Princess Lauren Alice loves him so deeply," Luna Jennifer said admiringly.
"Even so, Professor Kate doesn't seem to like Princess Lauren Alice very much," Hermione said from beside her.
"Perhaps it's just because Princess Alice is too tall, and Professor Katelyle doesn't like that!" Cedric said as he passed by and happened to overhear their conversation.
The three girls fell into brief silence, each endlessly imagining that scene.
"Maybe that really is it," Kalyanna said with a smile.
"Or maybe it isn't!" Luna said, still full of admiration.
"Or perhaps Professor Kate knows they come from two different worlds, so he doesn't want to be with her," Hermione analyzed.
The three girls exchanged looks and smiled.
They trusted and liked Professor Kate, but that was all. They had no other thoughts.
As for Princess Lauren Alice falling for Professor Katelyle, there was nothing they could do to help.

The sound of horns rang out as Dwarven scouts rode giant eagles into the royal palace.
Not long afterward, the rallying battle horn sounded. All the Dwarven and Elven warriors gathered atop the city walls, preparing for battle.
