Hermione Granger's words left Ron Weasley and Harry stunned and incredulous.

But more than anything, they were excited.

If they could find out who had thrown away the notebook, they could identify the real culprit behind the attacks on students at school.

Hermione pondered for a while. After a long pause, she suddenly raised her head and looked at Ron.

Seeing Hermione staring at him with a hesitant expression, Ron was baffled. He quickly asked, "Hermione, why are you looking at me? Is there something on my face?"

Harry also looked at Ron suspiciously. Hermione's expression looked very much like suspicion.

Could Ron have something to do with this?

"I remember who this notebook belongs to," Hermione said in a subdued voice.

"Who?" Ron and Harry asked at once.

"Ginny!" Hermione said after a moment's hesitation.

"Impossible, impossible, absolutely impossible."

"She wouldn't do anything like that!"

The moment Ron heard this, he rejected the idea without the slightest hesitation.

Ron knew Ginny very well. She was his sister, and such a sweet, well-behaved girl. How could she possibly do something like this?

Harry found it unbelievable too, and was even unwilling to believe it.

Harry knew all too well what Ginny was like. She really was a gentle, well-behaved child.

"Hard as it is to believe, the fact is that I've seen this notebook with Ginny before."

"Actually, you must have seen it too. Ginny often brings it with her when she studies in the library."

Despite how unbelievable it sounded, Hermione pressed on.

For a moment, Harry and Ron both fell silent.

Thinking back carefully, Ginny did seem to show up in the library quite often with a notebook in her arms.
