So Neville generally believed whatever Katelyle told him.

Katelyle took a vial of green potion from a box and poured it over the ghost grass.
After just three seconds, the ghost grass regained its vitality. It no longer flickered in and out of sight, and even its severed roots began to regenerate.
To everyone watching, the ghost grass once again looked no different from an ordinary weed.
"It came back to life?"
Neville could hardly believe his eyes and asked hesitantly.
"Did you think it was dead?" Katelyle asked with a smile.
Neville gave a sheepish grin.
"This ghost grass isn't fully mature yet. Even with the potion I gave it, it still needs another month."
"If you trust me, leave it here to grow for a month."
Katelyle looked at Neville and smiled as he spoke.
"All right, Professor!" Neville was naturally happy to have Katelyle help look after it and agreed without a second thought.
"Professor Kate, it can run away," Hermione Granger reminded him.
Katelyle took out a transparent cover used for growing herbs and placed it over the pot. "There isn't enough soil here for it to run through. Besides, it can't escape my cover," he said with a smile.
"There. Now it has no way to leave," Katelyle said, smiling.
"Harry, I remember you have a Quidditch match tomorrow, don't you?" Something occurred to Katelyle, and he asked.
"Yes, Professor Kate!" Harry replied with a grin. "We're definitely taking the Quidditch championship this term. They don't have our incredible speed."
"Don't get too careless. Sometimes tactics matter more," Katelyle reminded him.
"I know, Professor Kate!" Harry answered earnestly.
"We're dueling Draco in seven days, Professor!" Ron Weasley
