Professor Quirrell had not expected Hagrid to be so humorous when he spoke, and it left him feeling somewhat uneasy.

But fortunately, Hagrid had really only been joking.

"Magic is a wonderful, terrifying subject. I don't think you need it, Potter!"

The trembling, stammering voice made Harry unsure whether Professor Quirrell was excited or nervous, which made him feel a little awkward.

Still, Harry gave him a smile, and Professor Quirrell relaxed somewhat.

Katelyle looked at Professor Quirrell and smiled faintly. "Professor Quirrell, you don't need to be so nervous. Harry is a kind child. I think you understand that."

Hearing this, Professor Quirrell looked at Katelyle. Some of the tension left his face, and he appeared more composed, though he still seemed to stammer when he spoke.

"Yes, you are absolutely right, Mr. Katelyle. Harry is a kind child."

Hearing their conversation, Harry smiled at Katelyle.

He liked the sound of Katelyle's voice, especially when Katelyle praised him.

Hagrid also deeply agreed that Harry Potter was kind. Smiling with satisfaction, he patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "Kind Harry, we should get going. There are still many things to buy."

Harry nodded, then smiled at Katelyle and the others. "Goodbye!"

Katelyle smiled faintly. "We are headed the same way. At the very least, I'm going to that place too."

Harry was somewhat confused.

What place was that?

Hagrid glanced at Katelyle, thought for a moment, and said, "Are you a new student this term?"

Hearing that, Harry looked at Katelyle expectantly.

If this gentle, handsome, sunny older brother was a Hogwarts student, then life there ought to be very interesting, right?

Eh, why did he think it would be interesting?

Harry Potter did not understand why he thought that way. It felt a little strange.

Katelyle nodded. "You could say that."

Katelyle did not tell them that he was a newly hired professor at Hogwarts, so he answered casually.

Hagrid chuckled, then said cheerfully, "Well, then you really are an older student. At your height and age, you should be a graduate already."

"Still, it doesn't matter. Hogwarts welcomes all children with potential."

"Now, I'm taking Harry to buy his school supplies. Let's go in together."

Katelyle nodded with a smile and followed Hagrid and Harry into the Leaky Cauldron.

Professor Quirrell watched Harry's retreating back, his expression somewhat blank and not particularly friendly.

Then he saw Katelyle's back. At the corner, his gaze met Katelyle's.

Though it lasted only an instant, Professor Quirrell clearly saw the meaningful smile curling at Katelyle's lips.

"This child doesn't seem very friendly!"

Professor Quirrell murmured as he looked at the empty space.

The entrance to Diagon Alley was on the brick wall in the small courtyard behind the pub. If you happened to tap the right brick—three up from the trash can and two across—a door leading to Diagon Alley would open for you.

Of course, if you had Floo Powder, you only needed to say where you wished to go, stand inside the fireplace, and scatter the Floo Powder at your feet. You could reach your destination in an instant.

Diagon Alley was a long cobblestone street filled with all kinds of strange and exciting shops and restaurants.

Young wizards generally came here to buy their school supplies before enrolling at Hogwarts.

Diagon Alley was the busiest commercial street in Britain's wizarding world. Land and space here were becoming increasingly scarce, and property prices rose by the day.

But there was no denying that it was extremely prosperous. As long as you opened a shop here, you were bound to make a fortune.

"Look at our kind Harry. You're so famous that people fill with admiration and welcome at the mere sound of your name."

As he opened the back door of the pub, Hagrid took out his wand—a pink, rather distinctive umbrella—and spoke to Harry as if showing it off.

Harry asked in confusion, "Why am I so famous? And why do those people know who I am?"

Hearing this, Hagrid said with a somewhat sorrowful expression, "Perhaps I'm not the right person to tell you, Harry."

After saying that, Hagrid used his umbrella to tap on the wall.

Katelyle walked in behind Harry and smiled. "Because you had a father and mother who loved you, especially your mother. Besides, you are also a lucky boy. Of course, what they know you for more than anything else is that title."

Hearing Katelyle mention his father and mother, Harry grew curious about what that title was and asked, "Mr. Katelyle, do you know the reason?"

Hagrid, who was opening the door, frowned at Katelyle's words. He did not really want Katelyle to continue.

But he did not have time to stop him, because Katelyle spoke.

"Yes. The most important reason you are so famous is that you are the boy who survived Voldemort's Killing Curse. And because you were only a baby at the time, you came to be known as the Boy Who Lived."

"You are a miracle."

Katelyle smiled as he spoke to Harry.

"Voldemort!" Harry's face turned somewhat pale, and his voice trembled as he said the name.

He knew very well what the name "Voldemort" meant to him, and it filled him with fear.

Seeing Harry like this, Hagrid was somewhat displeased with Katelyle, but he still comforted Harry. "Harry, don't be too nervous. He was terrifying, but he's already been killed."

"Of course, you need to become stronger. That way, those who know you will no longer pay attention to your identity, but to your strength."

Katelyle smiled faintly. "Mr. Hagrid is absolutely right. So, Harry, I look forward to the day you become strong."

"In a sense, you are still a savior."

"I hope your life at Hogwarts will not be too leisurely."

Comforted by Hagrid and Katelyle, Harry quickly calmed down. At the same time, he said earnestly to Katelyle, "Hagrid, Katelyle, I will work hard to become stronger and become a powerful wizard."

Hagrid smiled with satisfaction at Harry's words.

Hagrid's hearty laughter was bold and quite amusing.

That made Harry laugh as well.

Katelyle merely smiled gently, without losing any of his poise or manners. His noble temperament was fully displayed.

"Then welcome to Diagon Alley, Harry!"

Hagrid precisely tapped open the brick wall, and the gate to Diagon Alley appeared before Harry Potter.

Katelyle smiled at Harry. "I need to make a trip to Gringotts. What about you?"

"So do we, Katelyle!" Harry said with a happy smile.

"Then what a coincidence!" Katelyle said, a hint of a smile rising at the corners of his mouth.
