In a dark corner.
Hex's body was wrapped in layers of bandages, soaked through with blood.
His battle against Harry Potter and the others had been far from as simple as imagined.
He had suffered severe injuries; it was only because of certain strange abilities that his wounds had not appeared too obvious.
Once that ability had been lifted, dense wounds covered his body.
The appearance of Jiskalel and the others had left the severely wounded Hex with almost no power to resist.
Fortunately, at the most critical moment, the Death God intervened, tore open a spatial rift, and took him away.
At that moment, Hex knelt on one knee before the Death God, not daring to raise his head.
Beside Hex was a python—Nagini.
Voldemort had indeed been killed by Severus Snape. The Death God had originally intended to keep watching before acting at the critical moment, but faced with Severus Snape's magic, he had lost the chance to intervene entirely.
That was also why Voldemort had not had the chance to flee.
The Death God waved a hand at Nagini, and a surge of Dark Magic emerged and fell upon her.
Nagini's body rapidly swelled. Her mouth gaped wide as she let out hissing sounds.
Hex watched Nagini's body change in silence, without the slightest surprise.
Before long, a hand reached out from Nagini's mouth.
Her mouth grew wider and wider, and a soaking-wet figure crawled completely out of Nagini's body.
"That bastard!"
"I actually died again!"
Voldemort stood up, looked at the dead Nagini, took the black robe Hex handed him, and spoke unwillingly.
Voldemort truly had not expected that, brimming with confidence as he had been, he would be killed by Severus Snape.
Coming out of Nagini's body also meant that he had lost another Horcrux.
