Background / History

Dumbledore encountered Katelyle three years before the latter joined Hogwarts and was astonished by his creations and magical power. He repeatedly invited Katelyle to teach at the school, offering broad authority to introduce new magic to the wizarding world. Katelyle eventually accepted, citing Dumbledore's judgment and preparedness for future threats. 1 7
