Meanwhile, everyone on Hogwarts' side, including all those who had fought and those who had remained behind at the castle, had been relocated to the open ground farther ahead of the castle for resettlement.

By then, the various starry battlefields had returned to their original Hogwarts surroundings, but the corpses, fragments, and scraps of Inferi, Black Wizards, and enemy magical creatures remained, along with extensive traces of magical destruction.

Within the bounds of Hogwarts, aside from the castle, which remained as untouched as ever, everything else was littered with corpses and devastated beyond recognition.

Most of the Hogwarts combatants had collapsed unconscious from exhaustion, each lying on stretchers conjured through Transfiguration. Those who had not fainted could no longer stand and rested in chairs created through Transfiguration.

The castle staff who had remained behind were still full of energy, moving through the crowd and caring for the combatants as best they could.

Hogwarts' magical creatures were physically stronger than humans, so few had collapsed unconscious, but they too were badly exhausted.

Flying and land-dwelling magical creatures sprawled, crouched, sat, or lay resting in the open spaces beside the humans.

Magical creatures that needed to live in water, such as Merpeople and the Giant Squid, were resting in an enormous mass of water that Dudley had conjured and suspended in midair.

The ghosts, on the other hand, did not feel tired at all and drifted about freely.
