Background
Dudley was originally a middle-aged man from Blue Star who died in an accident and reincarnated as Dudley Dursley. Retaining knowledge of the original Harry Potter story, he recognized the dangers surrounding Harry and deliberately changed the Dursley household’s future. 7
During his childhood, he gathered Muggle and magical books, magical materials, Galleons, and biological samples from Harry. He also formed the Dudley Gang, though he directed Piers, Moken, Danny, and Gordon against bullies rather than using them to target weaker children. 7 54
Dudley’s system unlocks “regret events” associated with altered storylines and rewards their resolution with ranked magical-item fusion opportunities. By fusing compatible magical items into himself, he can acquire their traits, abilities, and knowledge, seal unwanted effects, and transfer abilities to others through physical contact. 8
He spent years improving Harry’s childhood, teaching him resolve, study habits, and self-protection. He also pressured Petunia and Vernon to acknowledge Harry as family and to prepare themselves for the wizarding world rather than remaining defenseless Muggles. 6 8 9
After becoming a wizard through Harry’s blood, Dudley was admitted to Hogwarts in Harry’s year. He openly challenged Dumbledore’s judgment, demanded accountability for past failures involving Harry and Hagrid, and rapidly became a central force in Hogwarts’ reforms and the British Wizarding World. 16 24 41
Appearance
At age eleven, Dudley was nearly five foot seven, exceptionally broad, and visibly muscular even through his clothes. He initially wore a Smeltings School uniform and carried a Smeltings cane. 1
- Broad-shouldered and powerfully built from childhood. 1
- Possessed obvious musculature and strength far beyond his age. 1 7
- Later described as nearly 1.7 meters tall and outwardly more like an exceptional adult than a child. 465
- Commonly carries or casts through the Smeting Wand while teaching and in combat. 183 206
Personality
Dudley is direct, strategic, and intensely protective of the people he considers family. He views power as necessary for survival in a world where wizards can alter memories, control minds, or kill defenseless people. His long-term goal is to become strong enough that Harry, Petunia, Vernon, and his other allies will never be manipulated or sacrificed by more powerful figures. 6 8
He is a demanding mentor, particularly toward Harry. Dudley encourages Harry to think critically, study seriously, and avoid blind trust in authority. He can be affectionate and reassuring in private, but he uses harsh pressure when he believes someone’s complacency could endanger them. 6 31
Dudley is also pragmatic to the point of ruthlessness. He is willing to intimidate, torture, manipulate, or permanently punish enemies such as Pettigrew, Barty Crouch Jr., Voldemort, and hostile Death Eaters. However, he distinguishes between enemies and allies, repeatedly supports Hagrid, advocates for Sirius’s chance to reconnect with Harry, and uses his power to improve the lives of his family, students, and wider society. 191 200 239 354 536
His judgment of Dumbledore is notably conflicted: Dudley admires the headmaster’s ideals and abilities but despises his willingness to accept sacrifices for the greater good. Rather than simply rejecting him, Dudley initially seeks to force Dumbledore to change. 31

Wizard Bloodlines and Love Protection
Dudley gained his first Wizard Bloodline by absorbing Harry’s magical blood, then later improved his magical potential through successive fusions. 16 24 251
- His initial Weak Wizard Bloodline allowed only limited magical development and ordinary spellcasting. 16
- The weakened Love Protection could resist and reflect one Killing Curse before adulthood and retaliate against people touching him with murderous intent. 16
- As a bloodline medium, he helped sustain and recharge the stronger Love Protection protecting Harry until Harry reached adulthood. 7
- Later cast powerful Love Protection on Petunia and Vernon, supplemented with Mirror Marks for emergency contact. 291

- Maintains portable storage space and can move items into it through wandless magic. 49 199

Alchemy, Wandmaking, and Magical Engineering
Dudley is an accomplished alchemist, wandmaker, spell modifier, and magical-item creator. His skills come from fusion-derived knowledge, self-study, and practical experimentation. 169 261
- Repaired and modified Ron Weasley’s damaged wand. 92 129
- Upgraded Hagrid’s Hut with expanded interior space and defensive magic. 251

- Built enhanced Hogwarts training areas in the Forbidden Forest, Black Lake, and Trial Space. 444
- Created an immense Dream Realm where British White Wizards can study, train, and conduct research at accelerated speeds. 500
Conceptual Magic
Dudley’s conceptual spells allow him to alter states, repair damage, reverse aging, resurrect the dead, and later conceptually ascend known spells. 47 354 536
- Restore to Original / Conceptual Repair Charm — restores targets to earlier states; Dudley considered it capable of reviving loved ones and used it to regress Voldemort from adulthood to the womb. 47 354
- Used Conceptual Repair to revive Lily and James Potter, Dumbledore’s relatives, and numerous relatives of Hogwarts staff. 361 391
- Reversed Petunia and Vernon’s aging, removed illnesses and injuries, and gave them passive protection that dissipates outside attacks. 370
- Can use Conceptual Spell Ascension Opportunity to enhance any spell he knows; he applied it to environmental restoration, underwater cities, and a floating Heavenly Palace. 536
Soul Subjugation and Obscurus Power
Dudley developed a Soul-Subduing Space for storing, extracting, refining, and commanding souls. 376 500
- Extracted Soul Origin from ghosts and refined Bellatrix into his first Ghost General. 376
- Collected thousands of souls from Azkaban, including dark wizards, evil Muggles, and magical creatures. 376
- Created an intelligent Obscurus Ghost King Main Soul and trained it in the Dream Realm. 500
- Seized the Obscurus Root Trait from Ariana’s Obscurus, allowing him to sense and absorb negative emotions to fuel limitless magical growth. 398
- Used captured evil souls as a continuous source of negative emotions, raising his power far beyond the normal Legendary Wizard threshold. 486
Relic Fusions
Dudley fused numerous major magical artifacts, including the Deathly Hallows and the four Hogwarts founders’ relics. 413 491

After receiving his final system reward, Dudley uses ascended conceptual spells to improve global living conditions. He declines Dumbledore’s offer to become deputy headmaster or eventual headmaster, choosing to remain a teaching assistant while guiding the next generation’s reforms. 536
