"We have no witness." Lyon stared into Voldemort's eyes.
"Quirrell will be the witness. The Unbreakable Vow is an Ancient Magic; it can be used as long as there are three souls." Voldemort fixed his gaze tightly on Lyon.
The two locked eyes across the distance.
If Lyon said he would not cooperate, Voldemort would strike immediately.
Even if he had to drain every last bit of life from Quirrell's body. (Though Quirrell might be unwilling, it was not Quirrell's choice.)

To the relief of both Quirrell and Voldemort, Lyon agreed on the spot without the slightest hesitation.
"You will cooperate with all my actions and teach me Ancient Magic and Dark Magic. I will help you resurrect." After Lyon spoke, Voldemort hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
They clasped hands, while Quirrell's wand, controlled by Voldemort, floated in the air above their joined hands.
"Shelby, you must... help Lord Voldemort... resurrect. Can you... do it?" Quirrell's voice was hollow. Lyon nodded calmly.
The wand floating between them instantly sparked with arcs of electricity, and a thin thread wrapped around their clasped hands.
"Lord Voldemort... you must... help Shelby learn Dark Magic and Ancient Magic. Can you... do it?"

With every sentence, a red spark appeared at the tip of the floating wand, turning into a thin thread that began winding around their clasped hands.
"Lord Voldemort... you must... cooperate with all of Shelby's actions. Are you... willing?"

As the third sentence fell, the wand tip pressed between their hands suddenly flashed with its brightest spark. Together with the two threads from before, it bound their hands firmly together.
