History

The Primordial World began as a newly cleaved realm still saturated with Chaos. Its early environment was hostile: chaotic qi, bottomless earth-cracks, fierce beasts, and primordial divine beings made it a place where the strong preyed upon the weak. 1

Mount Buzhou became a major center of cultivation because of its role as the Celestial Pillar and its immense concentration of spirit veins. Early powers included the Dragon Clan, Phoenix Clan, and Qilin Clan, collectively known as the Primordial Three Clans. Numerous innate sacred beings also occupied territories and cultivated in seclusion. 13

Nüwa’s creation of the Human Race marked a turning point in the world’s development. The first humans were born through Creation Power, Chaos Origin Force, the Life Dao Principle, Five-Colored Stone, and Nine Heavens Breath Soil. Their innate Dao resonance gave them exceptional potential to adapt, reproduce, cultivate, and develop civilization. 81 84

As humanity rose, conflicts over territory, resources, and cultivation opportunities intensified. Xuan Chen and Nüwa responded by drafting the Human Survival Law and the Primordial World Faction Demarcation Rules, both of which received implicit recognition from the Heavenly Dao. 117 119

The Heavenly Dao had previously attempted to control the fates of living beings. After confrontation with Xuan Chen and the combined will of the world’s beings, it acknowledged this as contrary to the Primordial Great Dao’s original intent and agreed to stop forcibly determining all beings’ destinies. 140

A later war devastated the world’s lands and spiritual veins. Under Xuan Chen, Nüwa, and the leaders of every race, the Primordial World underwent a coordinated reconstruction: its major spiritual veins were repaired, refugees resettled, borders established, and its legal order expanded. 141

The world subsequently entered a period of independent cultivation and cultural exchange. Dao lineages multiplied, races cooperated more closely, and humanity rose from a vulnerable new race into a central power of the Primordial World. 147 151 218

Foreign threats repeatedly tested this stability. The Baleful Fiend Realm invaded with the Ten Baleful Fiend Kings, while Extraterritorial Demons later attempted to breach the Chaos Seal at the world’s boundary. Each crisis led to joint mobilization by the Saints, the Guardian Army, and the world’s races. 172 208

After the Chaos Core stabilized, new Great Dao laws reshaped the world. Spiritual energy increased dramatically, cultivators across every race advanced, and the maximum attainable realm rose to Great Dao Perfection. 222

By the Independent New Era, the Primordial World had moved beyond its early chaos and repeated factional wars. Its Dao traditions coexisted under the ideals of independence, inclusiveness, and collective guardianship. 250

• Human Survival Law — Formulated by Xuan Chen and Nüwa with input from human tribal leaders; it received the Heavenly Dao’s implicit recognition and strengthened humanity’s fortune. 117
